How do I list an item?▸
Download the Handpass app, create a free account, and tap the '+' button to create a new listing. Take a photo of your item, set a price, add a description, and publish — your listing goes live instantly.
Is Handpass free to use?▸
Yes, listing items on Handpass is completely free. There are no listing fees or subscription costs. Handpass earns revenue through optional promotional features that help sellers reach more buyers.
How do I contact a seller?▸
Tap 'Message Seller' on any listing to open a direct chat. You can ask questions, negotiate the price, and arrange a meeting — all within the Handpass app.
How do payments work?▸
Payments are arranged directly between the buyer and seller. Handpass does not process payments. Most users agree to cash on pick-up or a bank transfer at the time of handover.
Is my personal information safe?▸
We take privacy seriously. Your contact details are never shared publicly. Messages stay within the app, and you control what information appears on your profile. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
What items are prohibited?▸
Items that are illegal, dangerous, or regulated are not allowed. This includes weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, and items that violate copyright or consumer laws. Violating listings are removed and accounts may be suspended.
How do I report a problem?▸
You can report a listing or a user by tapping the three-dot menu on any listing or profile and selecting 'Report'. Our moderation team reviews every report and takes action where needed.
Can I sell internationally?▸
Handpass is currently focused on local, in-person transactions within Australia. International shipping and cross-border sales are not supported at this time.
How do reviews work?▸
After completing a deal, both the buyer and seller are invited to leave a review. Reviews are verified — only users who have completed a transaction together can rate each other — so you can trust the ratings you see.
